Job summary

OneWell Health Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to deliver person-centered care to individuals with IDD in residential, community, and home-based settings across New Jersey. The DSP supports activities of daily living, health and safety, and community inclusion while promoting independence.

Responsibilities include implementing ISPs, documenting services, coordinating with families and the care team, and ensuring dignity and respect in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Associate degree or coursework in related field.
• Entry-level position; training provided.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide medication support and meal preparation.
• Assist with mobility and transportation.
• Document services and ISPs accurately.
• Maintain health and safety and document changes.
