Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) at the De Smet, SD location to provide resident-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will help with daily living activities, procedures, and documentation while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

The role features a flexible schedule with various shifts, weekend and evening/night differentials, and eligibility for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. A comprehensive benefits package is available.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process within four months.
• Maintains annual continuing education credits and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, meals, and vital signs as per care plan.
• Document interactions, communicate changes to charge nurse, and support infection control.
