Good Samaritan, at the Desmet Center in De Smet, SD, seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The role supports daily living activities, aids nursing staff, and contributes to a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be a CNA with State certification or in process of certification within four months.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16 with prior clinical/nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care per care plan.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Record vital signs and report any changes to the RN.
• Support infection prevention policies and PPE usage.
• Assist with meals, grooming, and personal care as needed.
