Job summary

Good Samaritan in De Smet, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support dining, mobility, and personal care as part of a caring team in a long-term care setting.

The role offers flexible scheduling with evening/night and weekend shifts, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16.
• CNA certification required or in process with State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Assists with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, obtaining and recording vital signs.
• Documents resident interactions and communicates care changes to the charge nurse.
• Assists with meals, housekeeping, and wellness/recreational activities.
