Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to deliver 1-1 in-home ABA services for children from birth to 21 in Maryland. You will implement plans designed by BCBA, collect data, and support families in applying treatment goals in a home setting.

Ideal candidates have a passion for working with children, strong communication, and reliability. Flexible part-time hours with evenings/afternoons, paid training, and benefits for full-time staff are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with children preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities preferred; training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation to commute to work locations.
• Confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication; ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress of the individualized treatment plan and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients during sessions (standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, etc.).
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
