Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp) is an online tutor platform connecting K-12 students with university tutors for personalized lessons. As a 1:1 ESL tutor, you will teach for a 50‑minute session to ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

You set a flexible schedule in an after‑school context, ensuring reliable, engaging lessons. This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.
• Fast, reliable internet; Windows or Mac PC.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in Cosmo App.
• Prepare age- and ability-appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents and students.
• Attend classes on time in a professional setting.
• Coordinate with Cosmo staff.
