Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced ESL tutors to deliver 1:1 lessons online to K-12 students. You’ll set a consistent schedule and teach ESL, ELA, or EFL using the Cosmo curriculum for learners in Singapore, Hong Kong, and North America.

As an independent contractor, you’ll conduct 50‑minute sessions, update availability in the Cosmo App, prepare age-appropriate materials, and provide feedback after each class.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of teaching K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.
• Reliable internet and a computer with minimum specs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
