Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to deliver 1:1 math instruction online to K-12 students in the United States and Canada. Tutors set a consistent schedule for 50‑minute sessions and use Cosmo-provided learning plans.

The role is an independent contractor position with pay of $20 USD per class plus incentives. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree, have at least three years of K-12 math teaching experience, and can commit to 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math.
• Experience with K-12 Math standards.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
