Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced tutors for 1:1 online learning for K-12 students. The role provides a flexible schedule and requires at least a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of teaching experience in math. Tutors will build a welcoming environment, prepare lesson materials, and communicate professionally with students and parents. This independent contractor position pays $20 USD per class, with additional incentives. Candidates should be located in the U.S. or Canada and available a minimum of 20 hours each week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
