Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced K-12 tutors to provide 1 on 1 instruction for students in a flexible and supportive environment. As a tutor, you will prepare lesson materials, give feedback, and communicate with students and parents. A Bachelor's degree and 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 math are required. This is an independent contractor position offering $20 USD per class plus additional incentives. Ideal candidates should be passionate, patient, and reliable, with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
