Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Float Medical Receptionist (Flex Member Support Specialist) to be an in‑office ambassador for patients, ensuring a warm, efficient experience across multiple offices in a market. You will manage patient intake, scheduling, and communications while upholding the One Medical look and feel.

You will support providers and teams with a service‑oriented approach, using C‑I‑CARE, while navigating Slack, G Suite, Zoom and our EMR system.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• English proficiency; bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
• Experience collaborating in diverse, feedback-driven teams.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions and ensure a fluid in‑office experience.
• Front of house duties including check in/check out, insurance verification, printing and paperwork tasks.
• Support team development through rounding, huddles and problem solving.
• Master technology suite (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, 1Life EMR) to interact with team and patients.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office look and supplies.
