Qualifications

• Medical assistant training required; CMA preferred.
• Professional attitude and strong time management.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Familiar with EMRs and basic administrative duties.
• Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain and confirm information.
• Record histories in the EMR.
• Measure and record vital signs and prepare patients for examination.
• Assist providers and prepare exam rooms.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Register patients, verify insurance, and collect co-pays.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
