Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Flex Data Center Security Officer for full-time shifts at multiple site locations, with primary site in Hillsboro, OR. The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Strong customer service skills and reliability are essential. Hires must be 18+, possess a HS diploma or GED, and be able to work any day on 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying identification, checking credentials, and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols, company rules, and regulations for premises, personnel, and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and security equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities, behavior, and security breaches.

**Must be available any day, 2nd and 3rd shifts & will be stationed at various site locations**

Primary Site Location: Hillsboro, OR

Wage: $23.50/Hour

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
