Job summary

Securitas USA in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Flex Security Officer for full-time duties. You will patrol facilities, monitor cameras and alarms, control access, and respond to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Must be available any day, on 2nd or 3rd shifts, and stationed at various site locations. Primary Site Location: Hillsboro, OR. No prior experience required. We offer $22 per hour with benefits, paid time off, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance during shift.
• Strong observational and communication abilities.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises, including buildings and parking areas, to identify security risks.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying IDs and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols and company rules for premises and people.
• Inspect entrances and equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities and security breaches.

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. • Inspect doors, windows, gates, and security equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities, behavior, and security breaches.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
