Securitas US Business Unit is seeking an Experienced Security Guard for a full-time role in Hillsboro, OR. The position involves monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling multiple client sites to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting safety issues, and providing excellent customer service to employees and guests. Applicants must meet age and education requirements and complete pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor and appearance.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must have good communication skills.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests (first point of contact).
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Conduct metal detection with wand.
• Access control duties - issuing badges to visitors.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Primary Location: Hillsboro, OR

Wage:$24.90/HR

Schedule: Mon - Fri: 1500 - 2300

TheSecurity Guard helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
