Securitas US Business Unit in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Flex Security Officer for full-time shifts. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Availability required on all days, including 2nd and 3rd shifts. No prior experience necessary. Wage is $22.00 per hour, with benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401K, paid time off, uniforms, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must remain calm under pressure and stay vigilant.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying identification and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols and company rules for premises, personnel, and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities, behavior, and security breaches.

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
