Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Flex Data Center Security Officer for full-time placement at Hillsboro, OR. The role requires availability on 2nd and 3rd shifts and being stationed at various site locations to protect people, property, and assets.

Daily duties include patrolling premises, monitoring systems, and controlling access while ensuring safety protocols are followed. The position emphasizes vigilance, rapid response, and professional customer service.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying identification, checking credentials, and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols, company rules, and regulations for premises, personnel, and visitors.

• Must be available any day, 2nd and 3rd shifts & will be stationed at various site locations**

Primary Site Location: Hillsboro, OR

Wage: $23.50/Hour

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Objectives

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision‑making capabilities.
