Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Security Guard — Full Time to patrol premises, monitor systems, control access, and respond to emergencies, earning $22.00 per hour at the Hillsboro site.

The ideal candidate is technically proficient, self-directed, and capable of remaining productive during downtime by supporting site operations, training, compliance efforts, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgement.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance during shift.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying identification, checking credentials, and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols, company rules, and regulations for premises, personnel, and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and security equipment to prevent unauthorized access.

Site Location: Hillsboro, OR

Wage: $22.00/HR

Schedules:

1) Thursday 12am-6am, Thursday - Saturday 6pm-6am

2) Sunday - Tuesday 6pm-6am, Wednesday 6pm-12am

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
