Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an outdoor fleet associate to manage the entry and exit of vehicles in our rental fleet. You will perform pre-delivery and post-use inspections, handle license plates, registrations, stickers, and keys, and help ready newer vehicles for customer rentals.

This role supports fleet accuracy and vehicle availability, requiring attention to detail, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and effective verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work outdoors or in a mechanical shop with moderate noise.
• Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay active for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entry and exit of vehicles in the rental fleet.
• Conduct pre-delivery and post-use inspections.
• Install and remove license plates, and manage registrations, stickers, and keys.
• Prepare newer vehicles for customer rentals across multiple brands.
• Support vehicle movements around the lot to ensure efficiency and availability.
