Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Buffalo, NY seeks an outdoor Vehicle Prep Associate to oversee entry and exit of rental vehicles, inspect units, and ensure records are accurate for a smooth customer experience.

You will install/remove license plates, coordinate registrations, position vehicles around the lot, and help prepare newer vehicles for customers. A valid driver's license is required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong attention to detail with effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Ability to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entry and exit of vehicles within the rental fleet.
• Conduct pre-delivery and post-use inspections.
• Install and remove license plates.
• Coordinate vehicle registration paperwork, stickers, and keys.
• Ensure records are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare newer vehicles for customer rental across makes/models.
• Support movement of vehicles around the lot to maintain efficiency.
• Assist in moving vehicles out of the fleet for retail or auctions.
