Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an outdoor fleet services associate to oversee vehicle entry and exit in our rental fleet, perform inspections, and prep vehicles for rental across multiple brands.

You will handle license plates, registrations, keys, and paperwork, with attention to safety and accuracy; this on-site role requires physical ability and flexibility across shifts, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong attention to detail with effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
• Previous experience in auto service, fleet operations, or vehicle maintenance is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entry and exit of vehicles within rental fleet.
• Conduct pre-delivery and post-use inspections.
• Install and remove license plates, coordinate vehicle registration paperwork, stickers, and keys.
• Prepare newer vehicles for customer rental across makes and models.
• Support vehicle transitions to retail or other buyers.
• Assist in the organized movement of vehicles around the lot to maintain efficient operations.
