Job summary

Sysco Minnesota, Inc. is seeking a skilled fleet technician/leader to perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on the company fleet. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to prevent breakdowns, maximize uptime, and improve overall fleet reliability.

Experience in leadership roles is preferred, with strong knowledge of OEM diagnostics and Sysco computer systems. You will be responsible for safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient repair workflows, including annual

Qualifications

Heavy Duty truck technical training is required.
High school diploma is required.
2-year school and 4 years of experience or 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
1-year leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs supervisory roles when fleet supervisors or manager are not accessible.
Mentor, teach and share expertise with the fleet technician I and II.
Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles within planned time tolerances.
Maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the fleet life cycle.
Follow procedures and document work performed on work orders.
