Job summary

US3063 Sygma Pennsylvania (The Sygma Network, Inc) is hiring a Fleet Technician responsible for preventive maintenance and expert repair of a broad range of fleet equipment. You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to ensure roadworthiness and reliability.

The role requires skills in electrical systems, refrigeration units, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations. CDL is a plus but not required; strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training (2-year program).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of experience OR 5 years in fleet maintenance and repair.
• CDL preferred, not required.
• Current and valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform annual inspections on fleet vehicles per federal, state, and local requirements.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems on tractors, trailers, and related equipment.
• Repair refrigeration units (Reefer) and related systems to manufacturer specs.
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups promptly and accurately.
