Job summary

The SYGMA Network in Orlando, FL is seeking a Fleet Technician to assist with preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on tractors, trailers, and support equipment. You will learn to diagnose issues, perform repairs to OEM specs, and document work in SAP, contributing to vehicle reliability and uptime.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic automotive/HD truck training, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced fleet environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2-year technical training in medium/heavy-duty trucks.
Annual Inspector Certification.
Brake Inspector Certification.
ASE Certification – Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty.
Experience: 3 years in Fleet Maintenance and Repair or 1 year with 2-year degree.

Responsibilities

Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment to maximize safety and reliability.
Perform maintenance repairs on all fleet vehicles including engines, transmissions, brake systems, electrical systems, and related components.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions and perform road-call repairs as needed.
Document all work performed in SAP using standard formats.
Learn and develop efficiency in all Maintenance Relate System programs.
