Job summary

The SYGMA Network is seeking a Fleet Technician to provide safe, reliable, and cost-efficient vehicle maintenance and repair across the fleet, ensuring inspections, diagnostics and OEM-compliant repairs.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, annual inspections, and mentoring junior technicians while maintaining clear work orders and safety compliance. CDL preferred but not required; strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA and environmental regulations is expected.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training and a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, and fleet equipment knowledge.
• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Perform annual First Article/Commercial Vehicle Inspections per regulations.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair to OEM specs across engines, drivetrains, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Document work performed on work orders and maintain accurate records.
• Mentor Fleet Technician I and II; assist in leadership when needed.
