Job summary

zTrip is seeking a Fleet Recruiting & Retention Manager to lead driver recruitment, improve retention, and grow a strong fleet. You will attract qualified drivers, guide onboarding, and develop engagement programs to support long-term success.

Responsibilities include building partner relationships with workforce organizations, managing candidate pipelines, and analyzing recruiting performance to drive fleet growth and stability.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, HR, or workforce development.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining recruiting pipelines.
• Ability to build trust and positive working relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using ATS, CRM, or recruiting software preferred.
• Data-driven mindset for trends and solutions.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified drivers.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and community outreach.
• Conduct initial screenings and interviews to identify quality candidates.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective drivers for fleet growth.
• Promote the benefits and opportunities of driving with zTrip.
• Coordinate recruiting campaigns and hiring events to increase applicant flow.
• Guide candidates through application, qualification, and onboarding.
• Assist with licensing, documentation, and onboarding requirements.
• Ensure a smooth onboarding experience and activation.
• Coordinate with operations and training teams for successful driver launches.
• Monitor onboarding progress and address obstacles to activation.
• Develop programs to improve driver satisfaction and retention.
• Build strong relationships with drivers through regular communication.
• Conduct follow-ups, surveys, and retention interviews.
• Reduce turnover and improve fleet stability.
• Track recruiting metrics and onboarding progress.
• Maintain accurate applicant and driver records.
• Generate reports on recruiting effectiveness and workforce trends.
• Monitor turnover and recommend actions.
