Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Administrator to manage daily shop administration, process vendor invoices and repair orders, and track inventory to keep fleet operations running smoothly.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with a background in shop administration or accounts payable support preferred. On-site work in a fast-paced environment is expected, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in shop administration, inventory tracking, or accounts payable support preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite / data entry).
• Familiarity with fleet/inventory software (JD Edwards, AS400, I-PAK, TMW) is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Invoice & Order Processing: Process invoices, purchase orders, and repair orders for shop materials, equipment, containers, and fleet vehicles.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate shop inventory records and track parts usage.
• Customer & Team Support: Answer calls professionally and assist visitors and staff with inquiries.
• Financial Assistance: Support Accounts Payable with invoice verification and data entry.
• General Shop Administration: Perform other administrative duties to support daily shop operations.
