Job summary

Idaho Forest Group is seeking a Fleet Maintenance and Compliance Supervisor to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our fleet and warehouse. You will oversee DOT/FMCSA safety, driver safety programs, and vehicle maintenance while coordinating inventory and shop activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of fleet maintenance or transportation operations experience.
• Minimum 1 year of safety compliance experience.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA, OSHA regulations.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and ELD software such as Samsara.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure DOT/FMCSA safety compliance across fleet and drivers.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and shop operations with mechanics.
• Coordinate warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Lead driver safety training and safety meetings.
• Prepare reports on fleet status, costs, downtime, and safety metrics.
• Review vendor invoices and manage purchasing alongside PRs/POs.
• Maintain fleet records, permits, and citations.
• Schedule and prioritize fleet maintenance with Terminal Supervisor.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules; track repair history.
