Job summary

IMC Companies, LLC is seeking a Fleet Safety Compliance Coordinator in the Newark area. The role focuses on depot, safety and compliance functions, with knowledge of Samsara and Tenstreet, Hours of Service, and coaching drivers to maintain safe practices.

The ideal candidate will conduct driver safety training, screen applicants, manage road tests, assist with safety compliance, and support safety events. Opportunities for advancement exist within a busy intermodal environment.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting CMV driver safety training.
• Experience recruiting CMV drivers.
• Proficiency with MS Office and third-party web programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new driver orientation covering pay, fuel card, gate card and terminal facilities.
• Process Owner Operators and Company Drivers in Tenstreet.
• Screen driver applicants and pre-qualify for eligibility.
• Report applicant and new hire information to IMC.
• Coordinate road tests for Limited Experience Driver program.
• Assist with safety compliance in the region and report injuries.
• Conduct driver instruction and training and follow up on corrective actions.
• Respond to incidents and report to claims services.
• Manage driver gear inventory and supplies (ELDs, cords, vests, gauges).
• Install onboard dash cameras and Electronic Log Devices and provide new driver ELD training.
• Support Driver Safety events and driver appreciation activities.
• Other duties as assigned
