Job summary

Mid-America Pipeline Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced DOT Compliance & Fleet Safety Manager to oversee fleet safety operations, maintain regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety and accountability.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with a deep understanding of FMCSA regulations, commercial vehicle operations, and strong relationships with drivers and field personnel to keep equipment safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience with DOT compliance and transportation safety.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and CMV requirements.
• Experience maintaining DQ files, medical certificates, CDL records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FMCSA/DOT regulatory compliance and audits.
• Maintain Driver Qualification files, medical certificates, CDL records, and documentation.
• Manage Hours of Service (HOS) and ELDs; coordinate drug/alcohol testing.
• Monitor CSA scores and implement safety improvements.
• Oversee fleet inspections, maintenance documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Promote driver coaching and safety training; investigate incidents to identify root causes.
