Job summary

IMC Companies LLC is seeking a Fleet Safety Compliance Coordinator in Kearny, NJ. The role supports depot safety, compliance, driver recruitment, and loss-control initiatives, with responsibilities including new driver orientation, The candidate will work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm and help coach drivers to improve safety and regulatory adherence.

Experience in intermodal transport, knowledge of Hours of Service, and familiarity with Tenstreet and Samsara are desirable.

Qualifications

Ability to conduct CMV driver safety and operations instruction and training.
Ability to promote IMC to potential CMV drivers.
Comfort with MS Office and third-party web programs; ability to transfer/upload pictures.
Ability to operate small hand tools and access a class 8 tractor trailer.

Responsibilities

Conduct new driver orientation classes (explanation of pay, fuel card, gate card and terminal facilities).
Process qualified Owner Operators and Company Drivers in Tenstreet hiring platform.
Accept applications and screen driver applicants (pre-qualify).
Coordinate road tests for Limited Experience Driver program.
Assist with all aspects of safety compliance in region.
Respond to and investigate local IMC accidents/incidents and report to claims services.
Supervise maintenance, repair, and driver inspection reports for company fleet.
Install onboard dash cameras and Electronic Log Devices.
