Job summary

NEFCO Construction Supply LLC is seeking a Fleet Compliance Associate to provide administrative support for driver compliance and onboarding programs. This role assists with driver hiring, DQF management, regulatory recordkeeping, and documentation, collaborating with the Fleet Compliance Manager and Specialist to ensure timely DOT/FMCSA compliance and accurate records.

This entry-level position offers a path to grow in fleet compliance, with a plan to shift to a hybrid schedule from NEFCO’s CT

Qualifications

• Administrative, transportation, logistics, HR, or compliance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT and FMCSA regulations is a plus; willingness to learn is required.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High drive for results and discipline in execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding driver hires through background screening and DQF systems.
• Coordinate with Recruiting to ensure all required hiring paperwork is completed.
• Maintain communication with branch managers regarding onboarding status.
• Create, maintain, and update driver qualification files (DQFs).
• Ensure driver records remain current and compliant with requirements.
• Enter new drivers into company databases and maintain driver rosters.
• Track upcoming driver license and medical card expirations.
• Enter driver information in Geotab and other fleet systems.
• Assist with vehicle and driver compliance recordkeeping.
• Request and collect required documentation from branch personnel.
• Distribute insurance cards and compliance-related documents.
• Assist with fuel card administration and Best Pass accounts.
• Process accident documentation and enter claims information.
• Monitor driver training completion and maintain training records.
• Support fleet compliance initiatives and special projects.
