Job summary

SixT is seeking a Fleet Planner in Portland, Maine to oversee day-to-day fleet planning and operations. You will ensure efficient, safe vehicle deployment, monitor shifts, and dispatch cars to meet hourly to weekly demand.

You’ll coordinate inter-branch transfers, communicate with partners, and maintain accurate fleet inventory. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of administrative experience, basic MS Office skills, and a valid US work authorization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of admin experience in an office, dealership, or car rental setting.
• Basic computer navigation and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to manage fleet inventory, repair schedules and work orders.
• 18+ years old, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to work 40 hours per week, day or evening shifts, 5–10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and dispatch vehicles based on hourly, daily, and weekly demand forecasts.
• Monitor shift activities, vehicle movements, cleaning schedules and future needs.
• Coordinate transfers between branches to maintain service levels.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners; manage branch inventory.
