Job summary

SIXT is seeking a Fleet Planner in the United States to manage day-to-day fleet planning and assist in keeping operations efficient and safe. You will monitor vehicle movements, scheduling, and forecasting to meet customer demand while coordinating transfers across branches.

The role requires at least 1 year of administrative experience in a relevant setting and basic Microsoft Office skills. A flexible schedule with travel up to 5-10% and a uniform is part of the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of administrative experience preferred in office, automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or car rental.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer navigation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage fleet inventory, repair schedules, work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day planning and operations of the fleet to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Monitor shift activities, vehicle movements, cleaning schedules, and future vehicle needs.
• Plan and dispatch vehicles based on hourly, daily, and weekly demand forecasts to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate vehicle transfers between branches to maintain service levels.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth car rental transactions and keep inventory up to date.
