Job summary

Sixt-US in New York is seeking a Fleet Planner to handle day-to-day planning and operations, ensuring efficient and safe vehicle movements and timely rentals.

The role involves monitoring shifts, forecasting demand, coordinating transfers between branches, and communicating with internal teams and partners. You should be 18+, have a clean driving record, and be willing to wear our uniform; travel is possible 5–10%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of office admin experience.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory and scheduling.
• Must be 18+, valid driver's license with clean record.
• Willing to work 40 hours/week, including day/evening shifts; travel 5–10%.
• Willing to wear a uniform; languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day planning and operations of the fleet for efficiency and safety.
• Monitor shift activities, vehicle movements, cleaning schedules, and future needs.
• Plan and dispatch vehicles based on hourly, daily, and weekly demand forecasts.
• Coordinate vehicle transfers between branches to maintain service levels.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth rentals and inventory control.
