Job summary

SIXT in New York, NY is seeking a Fleet Planner to manage day-to-day fleet planning and operations, ensuring vehicles run efficiently and safely while supporting service quality.

You will monitor shift activities, forecast hourly/daily/weekly demand, coordinate branch transfers, and communicate with internal teams and partners to keep car rental transactions smooth and inventory properly managed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of administrative tasks in an office, dealer, vehicle registration, or car rental setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organized with ability to manage fleet inventory, repair schedules, work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day fleet planning and operations to keep fleet efficient and safe.
• Monitor and track shift activities, vehicle movements, cleaning schedules and future vehicle needs.
• Plan and dispatch vehicles based on hourly, daily and weekly demand forecasts.
• Coordinate vehicle transfers between branches to maintain service levels.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth car rental transactions and inventory control.
