• Strong parts identification and lookup skills across heavy‑duty truck, automotive, fleet, or industrial parts
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a sales focus
• Ability to recognize additional customer needs and upsell appropriately
• Attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter, over the phone, and via electronic inquiries with their parts needs.
• Identify and locate correct parts based on descriptions, vehicle/equipment info, part numbers, and application.
• Provide accurate pricing, availability, quotes, and product information.
• Process orders, invoices, returns, warranties, and other transactions accurately.
• Suggest alternative or related products to save customers time and complete repairs.
• Source hard-to-find or non-stocked parts as needed.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and other locations for buyouts and customer needs.
• Promote cross-selling and promotional products without compromising service.
• Follow up on quotes, backorders, and special orders; communicate status to customers.
• Work with Outside Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Delivery teams for a smooth experience.
• Build relationships with customers and learn their business and purchasing needs.
