Job summary

SIXT is seeking a Fleet Support Administrator in Newark to manage repairs, oversee work orders, and coordinate daily fleet operations. The role focuses on keeping vehicles ready for rental, coordinating with dealerships and body shops, and preparing new vehicles for inventory.

You will also monitor shifts and plan for future fleet demand while maintaining high standards of organization and communication. The position offers full-time hours with a starting rate of $27.00 per hour, opportunities

Qualifications

• Analytical skills with ability to deliver data-driven insights to fleet operations.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, repairs, work orders, and documentation.
• Team player who can handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders to deliver results.
• Willing to work 40 hours per week with 5-10% travel, including occasional air travel.
• Uniform and language flexibility are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless fleet operations by daily inventory checks, vehicle availability, and coordination with dealerships and body shops for timely repairs.
• Assist Fleet Manager with scheduling maintenance/repairs, obtaining estimates, generating purchase orders, and organizing drivers.
• Prepare new vehicles for rental with documentation, decals, tags, and inventory system updates.
• Oversee preparation of vehicles for disposal with condition reports and coordinating repairs.
• Monitor shift activities: vehicle movements, cleaning, and future fleet demand planning.
