Job summary

Western States Equipment Company is seeking a skilled Fleet Manager to oversee the Power Systems rental fleet across multiple locations. You will develop maintenance plans, monitor fleet condition, ensure VisionLink connectivity, and coordinate transfers while driving uptime and profitability.

Strong knowledge of generators, engines, and rental equipment, plus excellent organizational and communication skills, are essential.

Qualifications

3+ years in power systems, fleet management, rental operations, or equipment maintenance.
Strong knowledge of generators, engines, electrical systems, and rental equipment.
Experience with preventive maintenance and warranty processes.
Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills.
Ability to collaborate without direct supervisory authority.

Responsibilities

Oversee operational readiness and utilization of the Power Systems rental fleet.
Develop fleet maintenance plans to maximize uptime and rental availability.
Monitor fleet condition, utilization, age, and replacement requirements.
Ensure asset connectivity via VisionLink and communications.
Coordinate equipment transfers between locations.
Maintain accurate asset and service records.
Oversee the Return to Ready process and fleet availability.
Recover 100% of damage expense for the Rental Division.
Analyze utilization and profitability metrics.
