Job summary

Western States Equipment Co is seeking a Rental Equipment Technician to support our dynamic rental team. You will prepare and maintain the rental fleet to meet client requirements, track equipment in and out of inventory, and organize the yard for efficient operations.

You will wash and detail equipment, ensure safe operation, and coordinate with the team to meet delivery deadlines, staying safety-focused and compliant with company policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of practical industry experience preferred (rental fleet, mobile equipment).
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card as needed.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the rental fleet according to Western States' standards to meet client needs.
• Check equipment in and out of inventory; load/unload and move equipment within the yard.
• Wash, detail, and maintain rental fleet to ensure optimum availability.
