Job summary

Western States Equipment Company in Meridian, Idaho seeks a Fleet Coordinator to support repair and utilization of the Heavy Rent fleet. You will work with technicians, shop staff, and sales to keep machines ready and deliver dependable service.

The role requires strong organization, English communication, and experience in maintenance or repair, plus a valid driver's license. You will use ERP and Vision Link to track work orders and coordinate timely updates.

Qualifications

• Proof of HS diploma or GED is required.
• Three years minimum maintenance or repair experience preferred.
• Two years customer service experience in heavy equipment required.
• Must communicate in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repairing and maintaining Heavy Rent’s fleet to keep machines rental-ready.
• Prioritize, monitor, and schedule machine repair and preventive maintenance in shop.
• Review TA-1 inspections and create work order segments for repair.
• Communicate maintenance needs with technicians, yard staff, and main shop.
• Utilize ERP and fleet systems to assist with the repair process.
• Lead daily progress meetings with service department personnel.
• Ensure quality control inspection and readiness of repaired machines.
