Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or 3–4 years of related experience, with strong leadership and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Travel is required, and the position is full-time with regular attendance expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach drivers; plan and assign work; address complaints and resolve problems
• Dispatch drivers based on equipment and load criteria
• Route drivers to destinations per company policies
• Balance time off requests with operational needs
• Communicate with drivers to optimize productivity and reduce turnover
• Monitor driver logbook hours to comply with DOT regulations
• Track all loads from dispatch to delivery and resolve service issues
• Travel as needed
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships
• Receive and carry out instructions
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned
