Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee local drivers, optimize routes, and ensure compliance with DOT and company policies. You will train drivers, maintain fleet safety, and mentor staff while promoting efficient delivery service. The role requires hands-on dispatch experience and knowledge of routing software.

The team focuses on reliable transport, driver development, and strong customer communication to improve operational outcomes across branches.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience managing and dispatching drivers.
Experience using routing software.
Basic Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
Knowledge of Transportation Costing and Motor Carrier Operations.

Responsibilities

Optimize daily routes and activities based on Branch and Fleet workloads to maximize asset utility.
Ensure compliance with DOT and Company regulations.
Train and supervise drivers according to MedTrans requirements.
Maintain safety and efficiency of the Medtrans fleet.
Operate and maintain fleet assets per policy.
Lead coaching, onboarding and performance management for staff.
Visit Medline customers to discuss operational issues and improve delivery service.
