Responsibilities

• Learns to manage a small driver count and non-traditional shifts while ensuring safe, timely freight movement.
• Builds positive relationships with drivers and carriers to optimize setup and productivity.
• Assists with payroll, budgeting, driver coaching, and incident reviews as part of training.
• Plans loads, routes, and monitors freight to meet customer requirements and improve efficiency.
• Participates in fleet operations optimization, reporting, and KPI analysis.
• Maintains safety culture and DOT compliance through training and communications.
• Supports yard management, maintenance coordination, and issue resolution with drivers and customers.
