Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking an entry-level Fleet Manager to bridge operations between drivers, customers, and the organization. You will coach drivers, coordinate loads, and ensure utilization of assets while upholding safety and performance goals.

In this role you will track ETAs, respond to driver needs, and maintain data in AS400/TMW systems. A foundation in logistics and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred
• AS400 and/or TMW experience preferred but not required
• 0-3 Years Management Experience or other leadership role
• Transportation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage Dedicated Fleet of Professional Drivers
• Assist in Managing messaging for overall operations
• Responsible for service failures, safety, and fuel/utilization metrics
• Track and trace trucks and manage home time requests
• Maintain communication with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries
