Job summary

Werner Enterprises seeks a Fleet/Logistics professional to build driver relationships and optimize loads using our operating systems and telematics. You will collaborate with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to align with customer expectations and Werner's service goals.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–3 years of fleet management experience, plus supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• 2–3 years of fleet management or transportation experience in truckload preferred.
• 6–12 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to operate computer terminals and satellite communications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships through understanding and meeting driver needs.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Interface with multiple departments to improve value for the Customer and Werner.
• Fill and maintain a full board of drivers with supervision.
• Attend to duties in a timely manner and maintain regular attendance.
• Adhere to customer dynamics, service expectations, goals, and initiatives.
