Job summary

You will manage schedules, monitor safety, and liaise with dispatchers and upper management to optimize routes and improve service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience in driver supervision or fleet management.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with transportation management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of drivers to ensure adherence to schedules.
• Monitor driver compliance with safety policies, laws, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain driver schedules, routes, and assignments.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching.
• Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain records related to driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and incidents.
• Facilitate ongoing training to enhance driver safety knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, management, and clients.
