Job summary

Transco Lines Inc is seeking a driver supervisor in Operations to manage drivers and serve as the primary communications link. You will oversee performance, data accuracy, and safety while coordinating with load planners and service teams to meet schedules and customer expectations.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, keeping drivers informed of road conditions, and escalating issues to the right departments to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in related field is preferred.
• 3-year experience in transportation is expected.
• Demonstrates decision-making ability with little supervision.
• Intermediate user ability for Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Sole communications link to driver, including load information, advances, purchase orders, maintenance coordination and general company news.
• Responsible for assigned full board of tractors and drivers to achieve optimum performance.
• Ensure data entry accuracy and minimize coding errors on service failures.
• Maintain driver turnover within the target range and monitor MPU utilization.
• Coordinate with Load Planners, Service and Breakdown to meet schedules and safety metrics.
