Job summary

ProTrans is seeking a Night Driver Manager to supervise drivers, optimize routes, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries. The role balances scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews within a fast-paced transportation environment.

You will coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams, monitor DOT compliance, and drive continuous improvement in fleet productivity while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience supervising drivers or fleet management.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with transportation management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor driver compliance with safety policies, transportation laws, and company procedures.
• Develop and maintain driver schedules, routes, and assignments to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and address any disciplinary issues as needed.
• Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to resolve operational challenges and improve service quality.
• Maintain accurate records related to driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and incident reports.
• Facilitate ongoing training programs to enhance driver skills and knowledge of safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, management, and clients to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
