Job summary

PROTRANS INTERNATIONAL LLC is seeking a Driver Manager to oversee daily driver activities, ensure safety compliance, and optimize routes. The role involves coordinating with dispatch, monitoring performance, and driving efficiencies across the fleet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in driver supervision or fleet management within the transportation industry.
• Strong knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with transportation management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor driver compliance with safety policies, transportation laws, and company procedures.
• Develop and maintain driver schedules, routes, and assignments to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and address disciplinary issues as needed.
• Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to resolve operational challenges and improve service quality.
• Maintain accurate records related to driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and incident reports.
• Facilitate ongoing training programs to enhance driver skills and knowledge of safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, management, and clients to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
